I am at home visiting with my parents for the weekend. It just seems that it is really green here. So far today I got up at about 645am which was a whooping 9 hours after I went to sleep. Seems like I have entered into real adulthood. Which btw I never thought would ever happen! But it’s nice by 10:30 this morning I had done yoga, did two loads of laundry and went for a walk around the park with my grandma.

On our walk I saw the cutest thing! I should have taken a picture. There were two ducks a male and a female courting and swimming around in a puddle. By the time we had left the park they were quietly taking a morning nap.

So now it’s about noon and my mom is knitting

my dad is putting away the dishes

and my uncle Joe is putting up a light in the hallway.

This afternoon looks to be fun filled, with shopping. Then hopefully Dan and I will meet up for dinner.

I am so much more active when I am here than when I am at home, and it seems that Colin gets more done as well. But I do miss him and it is much more fun when he is here to play with me.

Well, I just got into work after a wonderful visit to an oral surgeon. It looks like my two upper wisdom teeth are going to have to come out. The unfortunate part… or more correctly the most unfortunate part, cause lets face it folks, the whole situation sorta sucks… is that my medical insurance will only over one of my teeth coming out… leaving the other one to fall to my wallet. Such is life on planet Earth. I’ll be heading under the knife on May 25th. It should be a peachy keen memorial day holiday.

As for this weekend, it looks like Julia is heading to BG for some family time leaving me to my own devices. Tonight may be filled with a visit to Home Depot for dry wall, to be installed in the pantry with Ted on Sunday. Saturday I’ll probably lock myself in the basement and try to give it a good cleaning. Such is the life of a father to be, and the future rewards of a new tie every June for the next 18 years, but hey, Julia picks out some nice ties!

Site news, I’m still playing with the flicker widget to the left. I can’t seem to get it to gobble up group photos from Julia and myself. It only seems to want to jive with my account for now.

Well it seems that Spiderman (our baby to be) is not fan of Burger King. After 1/2 of a Whopper and some Chicken Fries, Julia has gotten a stomach ache and retired to bed. As for myself, I’m nursing a tooth ache with Gary and watching some basket ball fine May 1st evening.

As for my tooth ache, well it seems one of my wisdom teeth has finally decided to poke its ugly enamel out the side of my gums. I dread dental work, but I fear a trip to an oral surgen will soon be needed. In the meantime I’m keep a steady dose of Advil on hand until I can find a doctor that will see me, and I hope they are “bone impacted” so my regular insurance will cover the procedure.
